Celebrating 15 Years
In 2025, TYR Tactical® celebrated its 15th Anniversary—a milestone that reflects a journey from humble beginnings to global recognition. Founded in 2010 in a 10×30 storage container equipped with a single sewing machine, TYR Tactical was built on a vision of innovation, resilience, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the tactical gear industry.
Over the past 15 years, TYR Tactical has evolved into one of the world’s leading body armor companies, renowned for its cutting-edge designs and unwavering dedication to quality. Despite its global reach, the company remains a family-owned business at heart. The founders, a husband-and-wife team, continue to work side by side, with two of their six sons playing integral roles in design and operations.
The 15th-anniversary celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the employees whose loyalty and dedication have been the cornerstone of TYR Tactical’s success. During the event, 38 service awards were presented, honoring 32 team members with over a decade of service and six individuals who have been with the company since its inception. This remarkable level of commitment underscores the company’s emphasis on fostering a supportive and valued workplace culture.
