The TYR Tactical Male EPIC-DSX is the slimmest fitting, most ergonomic full coverage vest on the market. This Next Generation Warrior update to our EPIC line of vests is the perfect blend of comfort, performance, and ballistic protection. The winged front and back a of the carrier provide 360 degree protection, while a gusseted front plate pocket keeps the vest tight to the body and minimizes excess material, reducing overall weight. Two QASM quick detach buckles on the cummerbund provide easy don/doff capability. Spacer mesh and a internal padding design provide comfort and breathability to the wearer. The vest is fully scalable with any TYR armored accessories, and a zip on back panel provides quick change options for multiple mission profiles like Chem BIO, Assault, or multi-day operations. This carrier utilizes TYRs patented PV material as well as its patented ballistic vein. It can come with various hard and soft armor packages, Like our top of the line XHA1195 plate and our new gold standard NIJ Certified NFA2/10 and NFA3/10 soft armor.
