The Tyr Tactical PICO-DSX Assaulters Plate Carrier is the newest in a long line of TYRs innovative carriers focused on the Next Generation Warrior. The carrier is one of the lightest plate carriers on the market while maintaining load carriage "structure" to maximize both carrier and armor stability as well as proper load carriage for ammunition, radios, and other items. This carrier incorporates cable management features, a low profile chest pocket, quick detach Fastec buckles, and a zip on back panel option. This carrier utilizes TYRs PV material as well as its patented ballistic vein. It can come with various hard and soft armor packages, Like our top of the line XHA1195 plate and our new gold standard NIJ Certified NFA2/10 and NFA3/10 soft armor.

PLATE POCKET STYLE

  • Incorporates a Gusseted Plate Pocket which relieves tension and pressure normally placed on the body from hard plates in classic plate pocket configurations
  • The front & back plate pocket incorporate 4-way stretch Tweave on the perimeter. This allows the plate pocket to expand & accommodate multiple plate thicknesses.
